Founder’s Vision: A Calling to Serve

Scott Grandy, inspired by friends launching a small business in 2022, decided to revisit the entrepreneurial spirit that had always been within him. Looking at the business landscape through the lens of his lifelong mission of giving back to the community, he saw a crucial gap in community preparedness. Witnessing the panic buying during snowstorms, pandemic shortages, and even a 24-hour I-95 standstill, Scott recognized that knowledge, wisdom, and resourcefulness were the true defenses against life's unexpected challenges.

In early 2025, a personal turning point reshaped both Scott's life and his approach to business. One Sunday morning at church, he rededicated his life to his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. This profound renewal not only transformed his personal journey but also deepened his vision for White Knight Solutions Group — building a company that prepares communities physically while standing firmly on a foundation of faith. Scott now openly confesses that both his life and his business are built on his Christian faith, seeing preparedness as both a practical necessity and a spiritual calling.

Our Mission

Our mission is to create more resilient communities, one better prepared citizen, business, or other organization at a time.

Your Community, Our Calling

Based in Fauquier County and serving the Northern Virginia (NOVA) and Piedmont regions, White Knight Solutions Group empowers individuals, families, small businesses, and nonprofits—including faith-based organizations—with the knowledge, skills, and resources to navigate a wide range of emergencies, from natural disasters to medical crises. We are your neighbors, your friends, and your trusted partners when the unexpected occurs. Better-prepared citizens and organizations require fewer emergency resources and are often able to assist others in times of need, strengthening the entire community.

From Military Service to Executive Branch Planning

For over 30 years, Scott Grandy has dedicated his life to safeguarding communities, both in the military and in the civilian sector. His journey began in the Army National Guard, where he honed leadership skills under challenging conditions. From securing Dulles International Airport after 9/11, to leading medical training at the Army National Guard Readiness Center in Arlington, Virginia, to helping prepare multiple Executive Branch departments and agencies for catastrophic emergencies, Scott has seen firsthand the critical importance of readiness.

Preparedness as a Shield and a Responsibility

After retiring from the National Guard in 2013, Scott transitioned his passion for public safety into the civilian sector as a Continuity of Operations (COOP) specialist. His role allowed him to turn a "worst-case scenario" mindset into proactive strategies for ensuring government organizations remain operational during crises.

Just as faith calls for preparation—both spiritual and practical—Scott helps others build resilience so they can stand firm when challenges arise. In Ephesians 6, believers are called to put on the Full Armor of God to stand against the trials and forces that seek to undo them. Likewise, preparedness in this world is an act of wisdom, stewardship, and protection—not rooted in fear, but in readiness. The belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shield of faith, and the sword of the Spirit equip us spiritually, just as knowledge, planning, and practical skills equip us physically. At White Knight Solutions Group, we see preparedness as both a responsibility and a calling, ensuring that individuals, families, and communities are ready to withstand and overcome life’s inevitable storms.

Expertise Forged Through Experience

Scott's commitment to safety extends far beyond physical security. He has served as an EMT-Basic with a volunteer fire department, participated in a Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), and earned certification as a Stop the Bleed instructor through the American College of Surgeons. His keen sense of situational awareness, strengthened through specialized courses like Active Violence Emergency Response Training (AVERT) and Situational Awareness for Everyone (SAFE), makes him a valuable resource in uncertain times.

Transforming Preparedness into Your Shield

Retiring from the National Guard in 2013 did not diminish Scott's passion for public safety. He transitioned to the civilian sector as a Continuity of Operations (COOP) specialist, where he developed proactive strategies to ensure government organizations could continue functioning through crises. His "worst-case scenario" mindset, meticulous planning, and unwavering commitment to readiness enable federal clients—and now private citizens and businesses—to weather any storm with confidence.

Lifelong Learning, Empowering Your Resilience

Scott believes that preparedness is an ongoing journey. His commitment to lifelong learning keeps him at the forefront of emergency management trends and best practices. Through constant study, training, and professional engagement, he ensures that White Knight Solutions Group clients receive cutting-edge insights and actionable strategies.

Your Partner in Building a Safer, Stronger Community

Today, Scott’s mission extends beyond his individual expertise. Through consulting services and hands-on workshops, he equips individuals, families, and organizations with the tools they need to become proactive protectors of their communities. Scott also puts his knowledge and skills into practice as the founder and a current member of the Safety Team at the church he attends with his wife. His faith informs every aspect of his work, viewing preparedness not as a reaction to fear, but as an act of stewardship, wisdom, and service.
