“What I Do Have, I Give You” — Faith, Blood, and Being Ready to Respond

“Then Peter said, ‘Silver or gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk.’”
— Acts 3:6

As I read through the Book of Acts this month, that verse struck me deeply. Peter didn’t have money. He didn’t offer wealth or status. But he gave what he did have—something far more powerful—and he gave it in the name of Jesus.

I can’t heal someone with a word, but I can still give what I have. And I believe, in today’s world, that can be just as life-changing.

Blood Is Life

Throughout Scripture, blood is sacred—it represents life itself. In the Old Testament, blood was shed to atone for sin. In the New Testament, Jesus' blood paid the price once and for all.

While we don’t offer sacrifices anymore, we still face moments when blood is lost—and fast. A serious injury can become fatal in just a few minutes if no one nearby knows what to do.

That’s why I teach people how to respond before emergency services arrive. It’s why I equip others to act when seconds count.
